The Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Fund, established in 1940, is The Ninety-Nines' premier scholarship program dedicated to supporting deserving members in advancing their accomplishments in aviation and aerospace. Today, the fund exceeds $4 million, enabling women pilots to pursue advanced training and education.

For over six decades, The Ninety-Nines have awarded fully funded scholarships to help women achieve their aviation goals, including earning advanced pilot certificates such as Commercial, CFI, and ATP; obtaining specialized ratings like instrument, multi-engine, and jet type ratings; completing technical training such as the A&P certificate; and pursuing academic degrees in aviation, from Bachelor's to PhD levels.

Each year, several Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarships are awarded to qualified members for advanced flight training or specialized aviation courses.

To be eligible, applicants must have been members of The Ninety-Nines for at least one year and meet other specified criteria.
