Chapter Business Meeting

  • A Chapter Business Meeting is the official meeting of the San Diego Chapter where members gather to discuss chapter operations, vote on matters requiring member approval, review financial updates, plan events, and conduct any other business related to the governance of the chapter.

  • Any member of the San Diego Chapter of the 99s aviation organization can attend a Chapter Business Meeting. These meetings are open to all chapter members who wish to stay informed and participate in the decision-making process. We encourage everyone to attend and engage with the chapter’s leadership.

The dates, times, and formats (in-person, virtual, or hybrid) of each meeting are posted on our events page. Please check the events page regularly for the most up-to-date information on upcoming meetings and how to join.

  • Chapter Business Meetings are currently scheduled for the second Monday of each month from 6:30 pm (Pacific Time) to 8:00 pm (Pacific Time).

Meetings are conducted in either a hybrid format (both in-person and virtual) or as virtual-only sessions.

For specific dates and details, please check our events calendar here.

Scholarships

  • A scholarship is a financial award given to a student or individual to help cover the costs associated with their education or training. Scholarships are typically granted based on various criteria, such as academic achievement, financial need, specific skills, or involvement in certain activities.

For the 99s organization, scholarships are awarded to support aspiring and current female pilots in their flight training, education, or career advancement. These scholarships help reduce the financial burden of flight training and encourage women to pursue their passion for aviation.

  • Everyone is welcome to apply for a scholarship.

Each scholarship may have different requirements, such as specific eligibility criteria, qualifications, or application materials.

We encourage all interested applicants to review the details for each scholarship to ensure they meet the necessary requirements.

  • For an up to date list of current scholarships, please check our scholarships page here.
